[編集] Announcement

KIEV, June 19, 2007 — Rodovid is now powered by its new, proprietory engine Rodovid 0.2, which has eased work with genealogical records and improved generation of family trees. Should you wish to comment, please, visit the talk page.

[編集] About

Rodovid is a free multilingual family tree portal. Anyone can access, edit and add to it. Rodovid uses its own family tree software, called Rodovid Engine, to create cohesive family trees. This family tree maker is probably the most advanced Web-based technology to date, especially in terms of its ability to generate very large trees containing dozens of generations and thousands of people. It is far beyond the capabilities of any computer-based family tree makers and Web-based technologies from paid websites. There is no need to pay any money for creating and sharing your family tree when you have Rodovid!

Rodovid is powered by the MediaWiki content management system (the same is used by Wikipedia), which allows those familiar with it to work with content at ease.

More detailed information about Rodovid is available at the About Rodovid page.

First-time visitors are advised to read Help to learn how to get started.

[編集] Statistics

There are currently 174441 individual records about people and 41657 records about families in the Rodovid database, with 177 people and 40 families added in the Japanese localization.
